This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it Study Summary The aim of the study is to construct a Standardized Diagnostic Evaluation (SDE) that provides an increase in identification of participants with active Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB) without sacrificing specificity when an SDE is performed compared to standard of care (SOC). A5253 is an exploratory, observations prospective cross section study. Target population are Adult male and female HIV-infected individuals. This is a multi-site study being carried out in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Kenya, Malawi, Botswana and Peru. The total enrolment across all sites was set at 800 participants, with 100 being enrolled from Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwe site operates from the Parirenyatwa CRS in Harare. Study Contacts 1. Dr. G.
