UZ-UCSF CENTRAL PHARMACY
Location: The Central Pharmacy is situated at the UZ-UCSF Research Administrative site at 10 Routledge Street, Milton Park, Harare.
Purpose and Functions Supports the research agenda by providing specialist services in pharmaceutical supply chain management (ordering, storage, inventory management, distribution) and drug information provision to CRS Pharmacies through use of computer based Management Information Systems. Ensures compliance with both regulatory and sponsor requirements by conducting structured internal audits in all research protocols. Temperature and humidity monitoring/ control is achieved through use of an Air Conditioner and devices such as sensaphone® and max min thermometer. Standards The Pharmacy operates within the Medicines and Allied Substances Control Act of Zimbabwe and Pharmacy Guidelines for Investigational Drugs issued by MCAZ
